Closing a 10 year Missing Persons Case
National Missing Persons Hackathon | Sept 2024
I participated in the 2024 National Missing Persons Hackathon, placing 7th overall. I was a member in a team of 2 that closed a 10 year missing persons case during the event. I was able to leverage my knowledge of creating data pipelines and database skills to create my own advance open source intelligence analysis software.This combined with dedication and OSINT techniques. I was able to locate an old mobile tied to the PoI that appeared in a recent job advertisement. With this knowledge I was able to provide law enforcement with the information they needed to locate the PoI.
